Before 1998 i was crowned princess.I am princess Liliuokalani princess of Hawaii from 1891-1893. My main thing that frustrated me was that the businessman would dominate all of the economy also the native politicians who also had the power.Before i was deposed of by those who sought annexation to the United states.When i was queen i created the turmoil and endangered American lives and properties.The government John L. Stevens wanted to make the sugar cane plantation part of the United States. On February 1.1893 the government announced that Hawaii was now under American protection.Also American wailing ships operated in the north pacific began using Hawaii as a base.Since an annexationists was a huge problem specially whit people were against annexation. Which then i gave a shot out for a new constitution. For this reason i wanted to restore the power of the monarchy. But unfortunately annexations took it as a wake up call to create a provisional government and a military.We were worried that the economic crisis might force us to turn to the British or french for help. The prominent planters forced the Hawaiian king to accept a new constitution that had limited the kings authority and increased the planters power

When I was princess in hawaii called Liliuokalani I was arrested during 1895. The only reason why is because I failed when i tried to indicated a new constitution by a soldier called robert Wilcox. Where i was arrested for many years. So in those years I thought to myself that i had the power of the throne which was the death of my brother who was king Kalakaw that would give me the opprtunities to let my friends go free only the ones that really supported me and that stay with me which they were Joseph Nawani, prince Kawanakoa, Robert Wilcox and prince Jonah Kuhio. Then when they let me go free the Republic of Hawaii said sorry to me. After they said sorry to me they had the right to bring my civil rights back. So then in 1889 Hawaii became a group of terrritory of the United states ,during the spanish American war. They took control of almonst all of the land which it was called crown lands. So then I got to point were I saw that the united states were taking most of the money in the crown lands unfortunately and i decide to fight for my land I gave all my effort into it but I lost . But then Hawaii gave me annual pension and allowed me to get sugar plantation.
